Furthermore, the random generation of question variables allows students to practice the same type of problem repeatedly using a single STACK question.

EXAMINE
In exams, transparent and consistent grading of student responses is crucial. Using STACK in learning management systems such as Moodle enables automatic grading based on mathematical properties. This allows for partial credit as well as the identification and consideration of subsequent errors. As a result, STACK is particularly helpful in digital exams with large cohorts.

For which subject areas can tasks be developed?
We develop assessment questions for the entire field of STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) and business subjects. Among others, questions have already been implemented for mathematics, physics, electrical engineering, computer science, and economics.
Do I need to have experience with digital assessment already to use this service?
No. This service is also for educators with no prior experience. We provide support from the initial idea through to implementation.
What is STACK and what are its benefits?
STACK is an assessment system specifically designed for mathematics and STEM. By leveraging an integrated computer algebra system, it enables precise error detection and individualized feedback. Furthermore, interactive JSXGraph or GeoGebra applets can be seamlessly integrated into STACK questions.

Are other question types used in addition to STACK?
While we can implement basic Moodle question types like multiple choice, fill-in-the-blanks, or drag-and-drop, our main priority is STACK, as it offers greater didactic potential as well as technical flexibility.
How long will it take to develop my questions?
This depends on the scope and complexity of the development. We will coordinate the timeline and the specific design with you individually.
How much input is required on my part?
You are the subject matter expert. To ensure we develop high-quality questions, we need materials such as practice sheets and worked solutions as well as relevant background information (e.g. target audience, expected prior knowledge). We bring our expertise in instructional design and technical implementation of digital assessment.
